"Winged Cloud" - Initial Sketch
Starting the first drawing of a series inspired by elements of my Monkey King series. I think I'll be accompanying the MK series with some more abstracted elemental drawings, smaller size than the big 40x32 MK drawings. So here we have the rainbow clouds from my most recent MK piece, with wing shapes forming in them. This is the sketch I worked up while sitting on the circle downtown on a most beautiful day today! More soon.

AMAZING! I love the implication of balance between force/control (the wing elements) and lack of control...(clouds) There are many ways to say this; essentially you've created a very unique version of the classic yin and yang motif - nice work!
