A Fictional Dogfight... Complete!

My friends Bryland and Corey are co-writing a youth fiction novel that I've done some work for previously... Go HERE for the whole story. The short of it is this- at a certain point in the story, there is an aerial dogfight between the Flying Monkeys of Oz, and an opposing group of white-winged moles wearing helmets and goggles (so they can see). This is the scene I am depicting... here's the initial sketch for the finished piece:
